Breaking down Soriano's struggles
FanGraphs article that did a good job statistically breaking down why Fonzie has been awful at the plate this year. How did it take this long for pitchers to really start figuring him out?

WORST CONTRACT IN BASEBALL
Good work Jim. Give yourself another donut.
$136 million payroll for a .500 style ballclub. Good work Jim.

Stop with the donuts, already
It’s old, it isn’t funny anymore.
Neither is the contract.

I just read this and was going to post it
It is very depressing. Looks like he’s gonna have to learn how to hit the bendy ball finally…

The only question I have is why did it take pitchers so long to catch on to this
I was at the game last night with a friend who asked me seriously why anyone would EVER throw Soriano a fastball and i had no answer,

sorry
I’ve been asking that since the cubs got him. I’m surprised he even gets 45% fastballs.
And on another topic; is it me, or are most of our hitters dead-red hitters? Is that common around the league or is it just us?
