I'm very nervous about Tom going up against the Pirates, we don't have a real
good track record of guys pitching well against their former teams. Gregg got made to look like a high school pitcher.
Plus I don’t trust Gorz to be a competent starter yet.
BTW, iPhone users in the Blackout Zones
While the game is not one of the freebies on the At-Bat app today, it is available to those who have MLB.TV and the At-Bat app.
Guess I’ll be watching in beautiful Tiny-Def.

It's pretty on Wifi, for sure
But the battery drain can be astounding. Plug into the wall to make sure you have enough juice to get through a whole game.

…when we get Z and Lilly back? Iowa? Bullpen?

No game on MLB Extra Innings today
so I’m counting on all of you for the inside skinny today. It’s a lovely day in Denver…
Get 'em on, Get 'em over, Get 'em in!
Oh yeah...
I guess most people in this country are watching Premier League since it’s opening day. I say, “eh.”
The day we lose our will to fight - Is the day we lose our Freedom.
Agreed
I might care more at the midway point. Opening day is just another excuse for the louts to get soused.

If I got any of the games on free tv
I might care. But I don’t pay for Sky much less the subscription channels so don’t ever see the games.
I do like the Champions League though, I get to see some of those games in HD on ITV.

Heck, I don't think you can get them
Even on a regular satellite subscription. Only if you pay even more for the PPV-type channels. It’s all about £££££.
Premier League teams are supposed to combine for billions of profit this year thanks to overseas tv contracts.

This’ll be the future of sports in this country. It’ll start with football though.
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.
I'm not sure.
Euro Football is unique where you can’t break for commercials like in most American sports. And with there being 4 major private broadcast channels there’s always going to be a huge opportunity to sell tv rights. Then combine that with the ability to create your own tv channels – MLB, NFL, YES, NASN, etc… huge profit exists.

I wonder how many of these guys were actually on his team..
they emptied the cubboard and restocked the farm with prospects at the deadline.

Error on Cedeno...
I get such a warm feeling seeing him on the opposing team.

I feel bad for Ronnie.
He tried so hard when he was a Cub and Lugnut. Just wasn’t meant to be I guess…

Sori had a TEN pitch AB
TEN, from SORI and it didn’t end with him K’ing on a low and away breaking ball (fly out).

They ran two live lookins last night on the scoreboard, both with one out left in the Brewers game and the Cards game.
Both had huge margins with other games on much closer. I sure hope that’s cause they want them at the end of a game…otherwise it made no sense at all. No one was watching them that hadn’t been already.

Dang it...tried to golf that one in the outside low spot everyone pitches him.
I don’t know if it’s a positive or not he flied out to the 2nd baseman…I’d sure love seeing him lay off those or at least try to hit a line drive to right field. Was too low to do that but hopefully it was his goal.

Meh... not a great AB for the Bakermeister there.
Ks on 1-2 pitch low and in the dirt.
