I have two tickets for Tuesday night’s game. I was planning on asking a friend to go, however he also has two tickets for Tuesday night’s game and was planning on asking me to go with him.

My tickets are Upper Deck Reserved, whereas his are in the bleachers. Since Tuesday night is supposed to be beautiful, we decided to get rid of my tickets. I have had a few poor past experiences with StubHub, so I’m trying to find them a good home through our lovely fan community.

The tickets cost me $16 each, but at this point I’m unconcerned with recouping my financial investment. What I’d like is to give them to someone who really loves going to games. You can re-pay me however you see fit, whether that’s with a handshake and a smile, a hug, or some sort of Cubs memorabilia.

I will add that before every season I buy a new Cubs hat. Not because I like a collection, but I invariably lose my hat before the start of the following season. I lost this year’s hat about halfway through and have been wearing a cap emblazoned with “Culver’s” on the back that I got on hat giveaway day early in the season. In case you’re wondering, my hat size is 7 5/8 :-)

I work both in Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville, but am working pretty much from now until the start of the game tomorrow. We can work out the details of getting the tickets to you at some point via e-mail.

While it’d be nice if the season weren’t so disappointing, I still think that a warm September Tuesday night in Wrigley is a pretty nice night out.

sorry this isn’t in the homestand.. but i have an extra set of cubs/brewers tickets for sept 23rd (wednesday) at miller park. i’d rather sell them to cubs fans!! they’re section 414 row 3 seats 10, 11. i’m going to the game so could meet anyone exchange.. i just got much better seats from my cousin. cost me $58.50 for the pair but i’ll negotiate lower even. i just want to see them used!
