to be clear

Soto, he doesn’t mean eating a hoho

Why on earth...

…would a reporter even ask Aaron Miles what he thinks?

by KDoggers on Aug 18, 2009 12:14 PM CDT reply actions

Miles

if Miles is considered a leader on this team, we are in more trouble than I thought. He has no right to be asked these questions and has no right to answer them

“A team goes through a spell when you don’t get that many hits or baserunners, it’s hard to look aggressive.”

I love that a guy with a sub-.500 OPS is commenting about how the team isn’t getting enough hits or baserunners.

I think Aaron Miles should go away

He’s a damn joke of a baseball player, and based on this comment an not very intelligent person.

Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

Hungry?

It’s also amusing that Miles implies that a front office led by Jim Hendry isn’t “hungry” enough.

I hate to say it, but he's right

I’ve been thinking for a few weeks now that this year’s team lacks the fire and intense drive to win that was so evident last year. I wouldn’t say the team’s just going through the motions this year, but it seems like there’s a sense of complacency and even entitlement on the part of some of the players. Maybe it’s because they took winning the division this year for granted and haven’t been playing with as much focus and intensity as they could be. Whatever the cause, they’ve certainly looked lackluster in ways that I never noticed last year.

Yep

I believe you are exactly right. They took winning the division for granted and clear back in Spring Training when they could have been working on baseball fundamentals, they were instead crying about how long spring training was this year. Lou was the ring leader.

a few tokes should do it

If Aaron Miles has the answer

Then we’ve been asking the wrong questions.

Seriously, how about you shut the frick up until you hit over .200?

Maybe Aaron Miles is auditioning for the Cubs managing gig?

And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

hopefully there will be an opening

but I’d be rather……..unhappy if he was the replacement
