I didn’t know this about Randy Wells. He was drafted by the Cubbies, went to the Blue Jays, and came back to the Cubbies.

drive him home theriot
no pulling the ball
He can throw a fastball at 87MPH and make you look like a fool. He can spray lines drives to right field. He can put up with crappy offense and take the loss. He is Randy Wells. He is the most interesting pitcher in the world. Stay healthy, my friends.
How about rolling over one?

Had a 3-month old or so, in a Cubs onesie. His brother got in the middle of the camera and gave it the old #1. I admit, I laughed. Surprised the commentators.
Haha, great

How crazy to call those smears racist...
That’s only because you can drive around Wriglyville at night while honking without fear of being carjacked or shot at.
you dont need to be honking around the cell to get shot or carjacked
Sounds eerily similar to this ugly shirt that was being sold outside Wrigley:

Hey, clearly there is no way someone might see a racist tinge to those comments and the tee shirt (who’s “joke” is nearly identical to the posters smears), right?
I guess in your viewpoint it’s ok to make jokes about around the neighborhood around US Cellular.
So then is ok to make jokes about the neighborhood just east of Wrigley?

That's probably a stretch.
He was at 75 pitches entering this inning. He’s likely to be over 100 after 8. Maybe Lou will send him back out, but after throwing 110 his last time out (career high) I don’t see it happening.
+20
if Wells still looks okay, he can go the distance. He doesnt exert a ton of effort so if he still looks good, let him go.
Wells would be 6th in the league in ERA...
if he qualified. There’s a chance he could qualify after his next start. What a season this guy is having!
Yeah, but....
Then he won’t qualify at the end of the day tomorrow. That’s why I said his next start.
and his W-L would be even more impressive if our offense and bullpen
hadn’t been so attrocious in his first few starts
