... after playing only two Triple-A games. He won't get a chance to play for four major league teams in one year, which would tie the record.

does this open two roster spots?

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

Yes

But one of them is on the imaginary √-1 roster

Still wondering the which and why

on thr Freel and Roquet trades.

The prospects offered for Rich Hill were of less value than the minimal cash offered. Fine, we took the cash. I couldn’t imagine the prospects being any better for Ryan or Rocky. If you know the cash is going to be the option, take it and move on. The only reason I would wait this long is if I were trying to decide between two worthy candidates, and how they were performing in late August would determine the more worthy Cubs prospect.

Can it really take this long to decide the obvious? The guys y’all offered fail.

Incredible...

two games at AAA, no thanks, goodbye. The Rangers have buyer’s remorse? Geez, I’m not a Freel fan but I feel sorry for the guy and his friend, Farney.

Did he open his mouth again?

I can’t image why they’d sign him and then release him that quickly

It never gets to be easy

by chitownhawkeye on Aug 31, 2009 6:24 PM CDT reply actions

That is what I was wondering

Maybe they got to see him up close and in person and decided they didn’t want him in the organization.

no

i hear the rangers have a required psychological test

The Farney Address-----The Gettysburg Adress

Hells bells and four teams ago Farney and I brought forth on the league , a duo, conceived in my head, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

that was fast. I wonder if he’s considering a career change…
