Tom Gorzelanny is Sloth from Goonies. Have you ever seen them in a room together? I think not. Still not convinced? Check out these incriminating photos:

Gorzesloth

and

Slothelanny

When asked for comment, Mr. Gorzelanny said, "Baby....Ruth?"

I don't care who he is

If he can keep up what he did today, he will be extremely valuable to this team

That's cold man...

Funny, but cold. Let’s hope he keeps up last night’s performance level!

Brutal!

Why am I laughing?!

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Because it's funny.

Yeah, I caught the postgame interview on CSN last night...

…and he is, undeniably, one freaky lookin’ dude. And I’m pretty sure he knew the shaving cream pie was coming, because he kept looking around during the interview. Didn’t save him, though.

Whenever he'd start for the Pirates...

…I’d always post side-by-side pics of Gorz and Butthead. But I’ve made a solemn promise to myself not to do that now that he’s a Cub.

Why? It's all good fun.

“Come to Butthead.”

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

LOL

I love that movie. This is hilarious.

You know, I get that this is funny

But having had three kids with braces, it’s obvious to me that if Gorzo had had orthodontic work done as a child (starting about age 7 or 8), he would have had his mouth widened, his jaw moved (offsetting the weak chin), and would have nice, straight teeth. In other words, he’d look a lot more like the “norm” for a Caucasian American.

Good looks can be (partially) bought. I couldn’t imagine having plastic surgery, but it was amazing to me how much of a difference orthodontia makes, if you start early enough.

He’d look like Norm?

Seriously mean...

Way to welcome the new hometown guy, who pitched one hell of a game yesterday, to the team. Sigh.

by smash! on Aug 5, 2009 9:39 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Dude

I’d say this is a welcome. The new guy always gets razzed. You should do a John Grabow looks like ALF photoshop or something…He had a great game and I hope he has another 2 great outiings. I did draft him for my fantasy team for 2008 and I guess this is just revenge.
