looking a lot better than Gregg. Assuming he wants to pitch next year and wants to showcase himself for the rest of the year as that rumor states, sounds like he would be worth the gamble even in a non closer role.

Another available hard-throwing lefty is the Cuban defector. The center-fielder who defected along with him is also thought to be major-league ready.
Any thoughts on whether the Cubs would or should have interest in these guys?
