New Blog: The Boxing Bulletin for Boxing Fans!

...and with this post, I have hit 10,000 posts on SBN in the nearly 4 years I've been here. Here are my steps to long-term BCB health:

Step 1 - Walk away from the computer.

Step 2 - Punch something constructive (and non-breakable) when dealing with blown saves, throwing the ball into the stands with two outs, back spasms, etc. Stay away from water coolers.

Step 3 - Drink 6-23 beers. May also substitute Jamo.

Step 4 - Walk MVP, Madison Vic (Mackey) Pollitt, my 3 year old beagle.

Step 5 - Find somebody to poke on Facebook.

Step 6 - Reload BCB

What are your steps to long-term BCB health?

Dan

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome flare-up

Like right now, after hitting the “Z” function thousands of times in the last 24 hours.

It’s a tough addiction. But only actual physical pain can drive me away. I’m a sad little man.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

i didnt realize i surpassed 10,000

I need a life……or I love my Cubs and the fellow Cub fans here (extended family?)

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

I only have a little over 4.000

so clearly I am doing just fine. I did just find a hidden bottle of Bailey’s in the fridge so that might keep my numbers down in the short term.

Right behind you on the post count buddy

If I jump in the Game Threads tonight (as I almost surely will), I’ll hit 10K posts on my 1-year anniversary.

Two things that I do

— Avoid most game threads, especially when the Cubs are losing.

— When I find myself getting irritated with posters, including myself, walk away for a day or two . . . after this morning’s thread, it might be time to do that.

Does this count post

since the changeover last year or since the real beginning of BCB? I have 4400 but I’ve read more than I’ve posted. That would be interesting to see who has read the most posts lol.

I'm almost @ 6500

I tried giving up BCB, I made it about a week. Where as can you find all the info that Al gives? No where.

I do spend less time on bcb since then. But I don’t keep myself sign all time

I'm over 10,000

if I can also count the Bangladesh Cricket Board in my BCB post total…
