Just what the world needs
David Kaplan spending a segment sucking up to Theriot while doing his best to get Theriot to take a cheap shot a Z or Milton. When does Kaplan’s microphone get taken away?
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

I believe Ryan has been making regular appearances on Kap's show.

He plans to continue them through the off-season.
I appreciate the takes the time to come on the radio, not just for a segment, but many times for an entire hour to talk about baseball and anything else fans might ask.
I find his appearances to be funny and interesting. I suspect Riot will have the opportunity for a career in broadcasting when he is finished playing baseball.
Hey, it's a new century!

Yeah, he's got a good sense of humor and is really down to earth.
Maybe we’ll see him on MLB Network some day.

I'd settle for seeing him play MLB shortstop . . . .

Ryan Dernier
Turning into a 2000s Mark Grace: Great with a quote, and chummy with fans, so we overlook his baseball playing deficiencies, like his BA since the All Star Break.
At least Grace could hit for average consistently.
