Cubs All Time 9

I was wondering if anybody did the Cubs team version of "All-Time9" over at mlb.com???

What seasons/players did you pick? Was there any seasons/players not on the list you felt should have been? What about other teams? I’m just interested in what everyone picked…

BTW: I’d pick Andre Dawson over Sammy Sosa anytime!

Did you pick Hornsby or Sandberg at 2B?

Lee, Grace, or someone else at 1B?

I doubt little that Ernie Banks will win at SS.

What about 3B? C? or the OF????

Personally, I picked
C – Hartnett
P – Jenkins
1B – Grace
2B – Hornsby (This was the toughest for me… picking him over Ryno)
3B – Santo
SS – Banks
OF – Dawson, Williams, Wilson

I know not everyone will agree with this, and thats fine, but I would be happy with this lineup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Same except for...

DLee at first. That’s assuming of course, that he was clean. Which I do.
Ryno over Hornsby.

Maybe showing my age because of those two picks. I’m sure there are great arguments against my picks.

… If I did this tomorrow, I might have picked Lee and Ryno instead. I don’t know. Tough call!!!!!!!!!

I was just asking who picked what on MLB.com’s All-Time 9. I also wondered if anybody did any other teams. The Yankee one was kinda fun… tough to pick, especially the outfield…
