BP (Goldstein's) Improved NL Prospects
Nothing too shocking here, as he notes Burke/Carpenter in taking steps forward.
As a personal note, he does bring up an arm that I am intrigued with in Bradley Meyers of the Nats.

Meyers = Rauch
tall dude who doesn’t bring it—from what I’ve heard.
Nice of Goldstein to show Carp some love. Can’t wait to see Burke at Daytona or Tenn next year. Maybe we stole him from SD?

disagree with the Meyers assessment
If by bringing it, you are implying some reflection on how he deals with hitters (that is, if you are implying he doesn’t attack hitters)..
If you mean he doesn’t throw heat, then that’s fair. Saw Meyers some, and I think he’s got a shot with good secondary offerings and enough on the fastball to keep folks honest. There’s a chance he’s more Sean Marshall than your typical mid-end of the rotation lefty, but at this stage in the development, it’s too early to definitively make that assessment. At the end of the day, lefties with plus secondary/average fastball offerings almost always have a better shot to get looks than their righty counterparts.
