Since it’s my idea, I claim Left Field and the #5 spot in the batting order (yes, I’m left-handed).

Followed by the world’s greatest second baseman, Joe Morgan. ;-)
3rd baseman batting third? Gotta be George Brett.
Switch hitting CF at cleanup – Mickey Mantle of course.
Left-handed LF – that would be Willie Stargell, the early years.

Anyone want to fill in the rest?

Lewin is eloquent

He offers us insightful explanations why Bradley is unaccepted in Chicago. " Bradley had an OPS of .999 last year in Texas. If he had even a .777 OPS in Chicago he’d be OK".

Hey Josh. Bradley’s OPS is .775.

If you like Selig's handling of the steroid issue, you'll love his choice for next Cub owner.

Sooo close

Sorry, Milton. We have to hate you now.

Speaking of that...

Has anyone ever seen a listing of career totals if you included postseason numbers? I wonder how much rankings would change.

I think the revised HR list would be interesting to see. Wins is probably another.

They are the best fans in baseball

because they clap for foul balls that get thrown back to first base for no out.
