Quick Report on Carlos Torres
He'll throw over the top, pretty hard at times, and will change speeds. More at the link.

Quick report on Carlos Torres...
Very beatable.

Well, he certainly has a slew of pitches to choose from.
I think it’ll all depend on how patient the Cubs are.

Post game report
He won.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

I bet he's surprised.
I know I’m a bit shocked that Torres shutout the Cubs. A 91mph, who always pitches from the stretch. I thought the Cubs would make him throw strikes yet so many Cubbies hacked at 1st pitches.

But at strikes
First pitch swings were at 9 strikes and 2 balls
It was 1-0 were things went poorly – Torres never fell behind 2-0. They swung at 6 1-0 pitches, only two were strikes. They also took four 1-0 pitches and all were strikes (!)
