You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat. - Albert Einstein
should be ursuli
I think I speak for everyone here when I say, "Wait, what the hell are you talking about?"
That would the Bears

ursuli would be little bears, or bear cubs…

Catulus means young animal, e.g. a whelp
The Romans didn’t really have a word for a bear cub, and imho catulus fits “Cub” better

The first one was really bad
this was just a really solid effort from the runner.
Riot could’ve shuffled his feet to the side and gotten his foot on the base. Fox made a good play (I thought, especially considering he doesn’t get to play first much anymore) and a solid throw.
Jerry’s been so distant lately and Lovie barely calls.- Just Dave
The throw was just a bit too wide, imho - but no damage was done - phew

Its going... busy
and the Cubs suck. Actually they’ve been playing better… but this place with the gameboard business got so ugly and unpleasant I stopped coming here much at all.
But good overall. How’s it going with you?

well at least we have the Bears!
And I cannot wait for Fischer Price to be gone from this team, good riddence.
Very busy, as usual for me!

I just can't really get worked up by the Bradley business
You’d think he killed someone by the way some people have reacted.
Yes he was rude. Yes he sucked early in the season. But damn.

Only the Cubs could take 3 times to turn a successful double play...

why do pitchers do that?
do NOT reach out with your pitching hand to stop a line drive!

shouldn't your instinct
be to get out of the way from a line drive?

understood
actually, I think it’s pretty amazing how the human body is wired. Line drive at the head, most everyone would obviously duck. Line drive just a little bit to one side, most everyone would try to catch it.
