You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat. - Albert Einstein

Why can't every thread be
The No More Gregg Thread?

Lou won't let that happen.

It's so hard. These idiots, from top to bottom, with the exception of Derrek Lee, deserve a verbal beating
I know. I'm losing
interest by the second.

I don't consider Soto
in that group. He will come back strong next year.

I AGREE
Sophomore slump combined with injuries, I expect him to come back too

The offense today was really bad
What would happen if they faced a good pitcher. The last one I think was Oswalt.
its a lot worse..

No question it's the offense
If the Cubs can’t score more than a run off a bum like this, they’re hopeless

I agree
offense takes the pressure of the pitching staff
except Gregg who will suck no matter what the score is.

bradley may be a loudmouth and kind of a jerk
but at least he has some guts and appears to want to win. Anyone who believed he would match last year’s numbers is fooling themself.
Kevin Gregg is the Mother F'n Anti-christ!
I don't consider
Bradley a loser. He’s been a plus to this team the last month.

I do despise Gregg though
far more than anyone else on this team

well, good night and off to Pittsburgh.

What's with Lou's lineup?
I love Bobby Scale’s hustle and think he’s a great guy, but he should not be taking Fukudome’s spot in the lineup. I understand why Fuld should be playing outfield in Citi Park rather than Fox, but Fox should have been used instead of Hoff. And why was Miles put into the game?
Good questions.
It’s too bad fans can’t call in questions for the post game press conference.

We all know what Lou is going to say in his post game press conference
"Brant Brown...DROPS THE BALL!!!!"
let's see
“what can I do?”
“We just have to keep playing”
“Gregg suck shit” (we can only hope)
Kevin Gregg is the Mother F'n Anti-christ!
Soto...
Just one more stop on the “What might have been tour?” to finish the season.
