Is his clone still here?

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

I hope it wasn't his clone that left.

We owe that guy a lot of money still.

My favorite memory....

…last year at ST, I went to the WBC game at Ho Ho Kam. (essentially a scrimmage for the WBC team) The Cubs played the Japanese squad. After the game, Taguchi stood at first base and shook every single Japanese players hand as they headed to their bus. It was clear that he was very well respected by Japanese players; they seemed honored at his gesture.

One of the many great things about ST, you really get to witness so many things you don’t see during the season.

i wish in the playoffs

baseball did like hockey with the teams lining up to shake hands. would be a great thing, and would be a good example to young kids playing the game

My mother was so freaked by parents screaming KILL'EM JOHNNY to their 10 year old kids,

that she pulled me from the ice hockey league in which I played in at the time.

She wasn’t exactly a hockey mom I assume.

my three cousins play hockey

and when they were young kids jsut starting, it was insane to see kids mothers fighting over a check, etc. more than once i saw a fist fight between mothers over the kids game. i am surprised that the kids were able to keep playing with mom throwing fists. i would have been so pissed/embarassed etc if it were my mother

I never even got to put on the skates

Same with football.

I guess that’s why I like baseball and basketball so much

Thanks mom

Does this mean

we get to hear fewer comparisons now?

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

Too bad.

I was hoping we could sign So to a 3-year, $30 million (heavily backloaded) contract with a full no-trade clause to be our fourth outfielder / 3rd base coach. (Heavy Sarcasm Alert)

Best of luck to Taguchi though
