Does A-Gone make Cubs contenders in '11?

Let's assume for a moment the rest of the team stays the same, with the only other addition being a right-handed set-up man a la Wood but not necessarily Kerry.

Some people think the Cubs should punt.  So my question is for all you dirty no good lowlife scumball non-believers out there:  Would A-Gone in 2011 make you a believer?

I was reading the Berkman/Chris Davis thread which got me thinking about other possibilities at 1B.  Then I started thinking about Hendry and how he could possibly be feeling pressure to put a winner on the field even at the expense of several of our top prospects.   I assume the Pads would be asking about Colvin, BJax, Archer, McNutt maybe Vitters.  I'm guessing 3 prospects if they're all solid would get it done and that Colvin stays in a 4 man outfield rotation with Sori, Byrd and Fuke.   I'm assuming no extension for Gonzalez, that we'll take him at 5.5 million for the year and then see where we are and if he wants to test the FA waters.  The rotation is Demp, Z, Wells, Gorz and Silva.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
