Not as good as Z's socks

and some players USED GUM.( I am sure someone remembers who that was). The funny thing here is that those were on eBay whereas this is being officially sold by MLB. At least you know they are authentic,

Think it was Luis Gonzalez IIRC, on the gum

Kinda/sorta funny story. Was at the Cubs Convention one year with a buddy and walked into the auction room right when they were starting the bidding on an item. Room was crowded, we couldn’t see what was up for bid but my buddy yells out " $ 5".

He is now the proud owner of a Lenny Harris used jockstrap. Eeewww.

I was in the auction one year when Scott Eyre was the MC

He was drinking a beer and when he finished someone asked him to sign the can and auction it off which he did. Think it went for $25. Best part was he was talking a call from his wife during this.

Y'know, I like Mike Quade and respect him and all...

…but that’s some messed-up stuff right there. I like this line:

…pants usually show more wear and tear than the jerseys themselves, and often are used for longer stretches of the season than a jersey typically is.

Ooh, hang on, let me go grab my credit card.

Someone bid $90!

There are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. Who says baseball isn't a religion?
