Anybody starting a paid league here?

If so I’m interested if a slot needs to be filled.

2010 is OUR year.

Too early to start a league?

I’m in for free leagues on yahoo

same here.

i’ll probably only join one BCB-related league this year, though. came in first in one and second in another last year, but i had like 5 teams overall so it got to be a little much.

I was first place =]

hahaha…

Interested in another league?

Check your emails, gentleman.

There should be an email for the renew of the league with the exact settings. Accept it if you wish to go again!

haha, very.

it took me way too long to change it last season, first to “jake like a fox”, then “baker’s dozen” after fox fell off the face of the earth thanks to lou and bobby scales.

my dad's back in as well.

he was woodless/hardwood last year, ronnie’s gamers this year.

which is weird, because it wouldn’t let me use an apostrophe in my team for another league. hmm.

I'm in as well...

I had a keeper BCB league that didn’t go last year, so I’m in for whatever!

Question

Is it possible to set up a league with a rule that each owner has to make at least one trade per month? I find fantasy baseball much more interesting when people will consider trades, but most leagues I’ve been in have been dead, dead, dead when it comes to deals. I’ve even had trades denied by the other owners with the explanation that they don’t have time to monitor the team all year, and think everyone should be stuck with who they drafted.

I would not be in favor of such a rule.

What if you like your team the way it is? Forcing a trade when it’s not necessary — I wouldn’t play in a league like that.

by Al Yellon on Feb 13, 2010 10:15 AM CST up reply actions

Agreed.

If you like your team, are winning, and want to stand pat why should you be forced to shake things up?

zambranofan, your problem is that you don’t join active leagues where managers update their teams religiously. In which case, I say, you should join our league.

If you wish, post your email and ill hit you up with an invite to the league.
