I didn't vote for myself either.
The one and only time I did vote for myself was for a people’s choice award. I’m usually pretty humble, but this time I truly believed my work was best. Well I got totally busted. I ended up winning by a unanimous vote and everyone knew I voted for myself. I felt like such a dope.

2. Shouldn’t the Eric Hanna Award go to the worst trade suggestion? Maybe we could have an “Honorary Dallas Green” (?) Award for best trade suggestion next year.

In the meantime, I present to you a question. Name your Top 3 posters on this blog. My vote.
1. Dartmouthcub…. — consistent THE best poster on this board…the rare sabermagician who actually knows what the hell he is talking about and has actual functioning understanding of baseball.
2. MPH73…. – it helps that he is a great Blackhawks fan, but that notwithstanding he is HUGE positive contributor on this blog. That is when he chooses to sift throuigh the increasing horseshit and participate.
3. Worf…. – very sharp AND objective. He is BLou without all the negativity.

4. DGU - his trade proposals are nuttier than squirrel shit, and his defense of Uncle Jim Hendry is silly….BUT that stuff notwithstanding he is very solid and wise beyond his years.
5. Al Yellon – yeah, you read that right. I don’t like that Al has his head so far up the keester of Crane Kenney these days and has lost nearly every objective bone in his body, but he is a GREAT, GREAT Cub fan.

Not even nominated for anything, but I voted. I’ll make me push for happiest poster for next year, although with me raising an obscenely drunk little person (ie a newborn child) who will most likely be throwing up on me, making me throw up, causing me to lose sleep, peeing on me, etc. maybe I’ll end up the grumpiest. That doesn’t even cover the fun stuff with my wife where I don’t know if I’m ever doing anything right. Thus far, the only thing I’ve done right is introduce her to Lost and having Netflix so she can see it all the first time and so I can remember all the stuff I’ve forgotten.
Also, for Legendary Thread, what was the thread where dtpollitt showed up and commented that reading the thread is what it feels like to be high?
