Oh this is good
The Cubs should have no trouble selling it out as they begin contacting current season-ticket holders and new prospects, Hayward said.
I can envision that call to someone with number 48,312 on the season ticket waiting list. Who just wanted Terrace Reserve seats…

At $24,000 a season...
… I’m guessing they might have trouble, in this economic climate.

The way I understood it-
this was a lower priced pkg. or option for smaller businesses that didn’t want or couldn’t afford an entire suite. So in that regard it would be a way to make it more affordable in this economic climate. Did I totally misunderstand the article?

thats what I got from it too
they have done a similar thing at the United Center with the Harris Club. From a business standpoint I suppose it makes sense for the team cause instead of an all or nothing setup like the normal boxes, you can still charge a premium and get individuals.

This is also a way to get more business people involved with the team.

Does a business really need 81 games at the price?
A regular suite with 15 to 18 tickets costs $169,000 to $280,000 a season depending on location.
At $24,000 per seat, a business would spend $96,000 and only get 4 tickets? That’s less but at a much steeper price than the boxes now.

the other thing to remember
is that the box cost doesn’t include food. Food and beverage packages are extra.

That's great but...
…what’s the master plan by the Ricketts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Pounding sand since 1982...."
Having been to the Club @ Fenway
Its is good place to entertain clients at a much lower cost than a full box, however if it is totally enclosed in glass with piped in sound from the field its a bad place to enjoy a game. Put the tables inside and seats outside
"If The Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me"
This is similar...
… seemingly, to what has been done at Camp Randall (UW Football) and other college football stadiums that have gone through renovations.
Here's the best part
new all-inclusive club on the suite level where 71 season-ticket holders will pay $300 a game.
I’m sure the Cubs will require a minimum 2 seat purchase…
