Huff Post: Looking for Best Baseball Blogs
Really a lazy article where this guy surveys national sites with an amateurish eye...I told him that BCB was best

Lazy is right.
He just posted a bunch of mainstream links, and there aren’t any fan/team blogs in that list.
While there ARE some good sites listed — notably Joe Posnanski’s stuff, and Rob Neyer’s “Sweet Spot” — he didn’t really do any research.
Thanks for plugging BCB.

Comparing BCB and those listed blogs is apples to oranges.
Those are “baseball” blogs (which is what he was writing about). BCB is a “Cubs” blog.

BCB desperately needs an injection of LIFE
It really does. BLou can’t carry the load all by himself. And the dozen or so other great posters on this site are posting less and less.
Al Yellon, I challenge you to restore this blog to its former glory. Before it dies.
The Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup in 2010.
I disagree Blou
I think you’re doing a fine job carrying the load. Go for the Glory.
If the world didn't suck we would all fall off.
I disagree...
oh yeah this site would be really interesting with just a dozen posters….with only a few different opinions, right?….and mostly everyone in awe with what you say….Blou did you ever hear the phrase “variety is the spice of life” ? Plus, if the rest of us were gone, you wouldnt have anything to b**ch about.

Speaking of loads...
oh, and nice touch with the 3rd person stuff. Rickey would be proud…

This site is a reflection of baseball itself.
It has its own off-season and post season. It has its stars who know tons about baseball and its minor leaguers. It has its journalists and its announcers and its cynics. We’re all players of different degrees. This site is the essence of baseball and that’s why we’re all here.
