The topic that just won't die.

Why shouldn't Milton thank Hendry....

For it was Genius Jim Hendry who gave the rotting cancer a guaranteed 3 year $30 million contract !!!

The Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup in 2010.

You mean the "rotting cancer" that you continued to claim...

… would be among the best hitters in the NL, consistently last year, until nearly midseason?

Hmm, no reply to this?

BLou, I’m shocked.

Some people say the glass is half empty, some say half full. I say, are you going to drink that?

You seriously need to start owning up to incorrect predictions.

In this case, you were wildly optimistic. You weren’t alone. Just admit it and move on.

while Blou does need to own up to his own failed predictions...

None of us have mult-million dollar contracts to make these decisions. I’ll admit I wanted Bradley, and I’ll admit I was wrong. But Hendry has much more information on these decisions, as well as much more riding on it, than a dweeb like me. He does deserve to be held accountable.

My comment really had nothing to do with Jim Hendry.

He HAS been held accountable for the Milton signing and – more importantly – taken responsibility for it himself.

So what?

MB should thank Hendry by not talking about the Cubs anymore.

Oh, come now.

You’re expecting reasonable and mature behavior from him.

Oh, I agree with you.

I was venting my frustration more than I was actually suggesting something I think MB will do.

April 23, 24 and 25 & July 26, 27, 28 and 29.

Those will be the Mariners’ two appearances in Chicago this year, to play the White Sox at the Cell.

It’ll be real interesting to hear the reaction to MB when he plays there.

The White Sox fans I know enjoyed seeing him fail here.

I don’t think it’ll be an extreme anti-Bradley response because of his comments on Chicago. That, and he’d accuse them all of racism if they did anything.

"He gave me $30 million."

Saying that is so wrong in so many ways.

Not inaccurate, just wrong.

choke on 30 million dollars…

money well spent IMO
