I love Lilly's intent.

His drive and competiveness makes him one of my favorite Cubs.

2010 is OUR year.

Ted Lilly.

All day.

Cubs need Lilly back (and good) very badly

The “one-two” punch of Gozellaney and Silva on the back end of the rotation is frightening to contemplate. If even for only a month.

But we're going to only win 75 games anyway.

Or has your line changed? If we’re going to suck anyway, why care?

Well...

While I don’t like the way that BLou presents some of his opinions, I agree with him that this isn’t an overwhelming squad. I believe that 81-81 might be close to the ceiling – but I HOPE that they do much better. In order to do so, they need a healthy Ted Lilly.

Not to mention

Ted has been the most consistant cub over the last three years.

I love his enthusiasm

But if be pushes too hard and has a set back he’ll really hurt the team

Ted's rehab schedule is consistent with what I mentioned on BCB

last year on the day his surgery was announced (my info came from a physical therapist who deals with many professional athletes). I think the “return in May” talk was done to create a real battle for a fifth starter and to give Lilly extra time to rehab, if necessary.

I hope Ted does make it back ASAP. Love his competitive spirit!!

What Ted wants

simply happens. It will be.

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

theodore is not pleased at all..

I'll bet Ted spends the rest of the week...
