Program Note: "30 Clubs in 30 Days - Chicago Cubs"
MLB Network, Tuesday, 7pm
Also Wednesday at Midnight, 2am, 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am, noon and 2pm - and Thursday at 3am.
(All times Central Daylight)
And apologies for the brevity, but I couldn't figure out how to do a fanshot (new interface since last year?) - this didn't seem to fit any of the categories provided. And since I need 75 words, another reminder that the Cubs/Mariners game is on MLB at 8pm tonight - hopefully it won't be blocked in Chicago since there's no local channel covering the game.

No, that's cool.
This is a useful update and worth a post. Thanks for the note on the game today, too — that’s a rebroadcast of this afternoon’s game. My understanding is that none of the spring training games on MLB Network are blacked out.

Thanks for the

Thanks
looking forward to seeing it. If they make one reference to 2003 or a curse I will throw my 1992 Zenith through the window.
Get ready for a new TV, then.

Anybody watch the series this winter?
I’m wondering how their production value has been?
They let go like 90% of their producers at the end of the 2009 season. I’m wondering if the quality of their video improved. I felt ESPN Baseball Tonight was still a step up from their overall production values.
Expect for ESPN Baseball Tonight's constant reference to Souvenir City

Sadly, I've lost my MLB Network since switching to AT&T U-Verse.
But it looks like they’re posting the 30-in-30 episodes here.
Thanks daver,
I don’t get MLB Network either, but would like to check out the show.

MLBN On Demand
If you have Comcast digital cable, you can go to the “Sports & Fitness” section and get to MLB Network on Demand. There, you will find all of the previous airings of “30 in 30”. Every NL Central team except the Cubs has its “30 in 30” on demand now.

I believe it’s aired again on Sunday the 4th @ noon. CDT

New or Rerun??
Does anyone know if this is a new look or is it a rerun of the post season reviews they ran last Nov./Dec.?

Just watched it last night
And it was absolutely awesome. MLBTV is going to be amazing. They had in depth access, great (if brief) interviews, fantastic video shots of the players going through their exercises and interacting. There was a 10 second shot of Aramis taking BP and it was mesmerizing. He was in a perfect rhythm with his amazingly smooth swing and made hard contact every time. I’m not embarassed to say I watched it over about 20 times.
There was also a funny bit where Marlon Byrd imitated soriano’s homerun set up, swing and trot.
There was also one odd exchange between Maddux, Zambrano and Silva. Couldn’t figure out what was going on or if they were even talking.
They even kept the curse stuff to a bare minimum, about 5 seconds out of the entire show but they counteracted that with a top ten best cubs moments in history which included a clip of Wood’s 20 strikeout game. Just awesome.

Yep, Hazel draws ratings all by herself.
Dan Plesac was in rare form too, talking about how he expects big things from the Cubs. I was having flashbacks to his postgame talks from ’08. No “big blue train” references, but maybe that will come later in the season if the Cubs start winning.
