Unfortunately control problems rarely fix themselves

I have a feeling Hill could be nearing the end of his career. it’s a shame because, just a few years ago I thought he was on his way to becoming the Cubs’ ace.

Hill's problem is in his head, not in his arm.

Absolutely

It reminds me a lot of Steve Blass who was a very good pitcher for the Pirates in the late 60’s/early 70’s until, in ST 1973, he suddenly completely lost the ability to throw strikes. Two years later he was out of baseball.

Doesn't mean they don't rarely fix themselves

See Willis, Dontrelle
Ankiel, Rick

I didn't even know he was in STL

I thought he was still w/ the Orioles…

He had a shot at becoming the Cards 5th starter.

Alas, he’s back to Triple A.

In other ex Cub news , it looks like Willis will be 5th starter for Indians

Good luck Dontrelle.

Don't care. Rich Hill is a Cardinal.

Still makes me think

Of that first pitch in game 3 of the 07 NLDS. BOOM. Onto Waveland.
