Well sort of. The premium Dugout and Bullpen Box seats are being offered at 50% of in April. I just checked and you can get 1st row behind the plate for $90 a piece. Perhaps Jessica would like to comment on the lack of ticket sales forcing the Cubs to discount in April.

Update - They are discounting bleacher seats for the April series against the Nationals. Does that mean Al and the gang will get a refund??

There are very few of those seats, of course...

… only a few hundred. I suppose they figure it’s better to sell them at a discount than have them go unsold.

Always think Retail with tickets

Yes, better to get something than nothing at all.

The worst thing is, one of those dates will turn out to be a beautiful day at the ballpark. Usually a Thursday day game. And then it will rain all weekend.

I am SHOCKED, SHOCKED

that they are having trouble selling April games.

Low blow Al

I will admit to laughing though :)

No I would not want to overextend him

He needs to keep playing first so he can be ready for Opening Day.

I have sat in the Dugout Boxes

And I fell that at the right price it is worth it. I sold season ticket for the Sox game for a profit and used that money to subsidize the cost of the Dugout box for the same game. It was cool to be so closer to the players and the action. I even got Ozzie to autograph a ball before the game. Then I blew him grief when the Sox blew their lead. :)

I received an email today.

Bleacher tickets for these games are also being sold at a discount, as I predicted.
