Your son's team, right?

Are they really called the Iron Pigs this year?

yes

and yes. The Bronco division has the Iron Pigs, the Sand Gnats, the Rock Hounds…

and the Yankees.

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

Oh my God - that is beyond awesome.

He must be really excited to be an Iron Pig – that’s probably better than a Sand Gnat, though I wouldn’t mind being a Rock Hound. The Yankees? Lame! For consistency, they should’ve gone with Devil Dog’s or some such thing.

yeah,

they let the coaches pick the team names; I guess one of them wasn’t in the loop.

Our team cheer involves oinking, which is perfect for 11 and 12 year old boys. Max is easily the smallest kid on the team, but it looks like he might play some second base and outfield. With only 10 kids on the team, he’ll get plenty of time in game.

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

Wow, only 10 kids?

And I thought the Cubs had roster problems. Max will have to be a veritable Jeff Baker out there.

heh

Remember the girl who pitched last year? She can play 1B, 2B, SS, OF, catcher and pitcher.

Max was actually practicing double-plays and making the throws. I was… very happy about it. :D

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

I want the Cubs to rename to the Iron Pigs.

oooh

I hope that’s what’s on their baseball caps. Uniform pickup is the 15th!

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

That would be really cool to have on the shirt, too.

I'm thinking

of using “Iron Man” for the songs in the picture video this year. :D

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.
