REC'd 1,000 times if I could. Best beer in the world.

Coolio, I’ve found an import version of it at Whole Foods. Runs about $12 /6 bottles, and doesn’t quite seem to taste like it does in Munich, but man is that good beer.

Sort of. You should ask for it as Augustiner over here.

Eths is right about what you’d call it in Munich, but no one will understand that. If you ask for Augustiner they should have it. The label and carton have more blue and less gold in the color scheme, and there is a foil wrap around the bottle cap and down the neck.

One word of warning: If you see a six-pack with the words “Maximator” stamped across it, steer clear. That’s an alternative version that is twice as strong, very thick, and to most people (myself included) pretty gross.

What we Cubs fans should live by: "I found that if you have a goal, that you might not reach it. But if you don't have one, then you are never disappointed. And I gotta tell ya... it feels phenomenal" ---Vince Vaughn in Dodgeball

Why, exactly?

Dome has a better OBP, which is more important for a leadoff hitter than scrappy %.

I guess I like the scrappiness...that's really my only reason.

I hate to say it, but I think it's the lefty thing again

I realize it’s only one spot difference, but Dome batting second breaks up the righties a little bit.

I don’t necessarily agree with this but I think that’s what Lou is thinking.
