ya know clutchy, it's a little known fact that leeches were a key factor in the..

…the fall of the Roman Empire. It’s true. Why just the other day on my route, I ran into the curator over at the Museum of Natural History and we discussed the de facto standard of health ratings achieved during the reign of one Julius Caesar. But as soon as he was voted out of office, if you catch my meaning there, that Brutus charactor wasn’t so quick on the uptake and pretty soon the lack of leeches led to dissension in the troops and then all heck broke loose.

Denholm Elliot

A truly great British actor who sometimes slummed in bad American films. He was in many excellent films, but was never better than as a loopy filmmaker who makes a one of kind Bar Mitvah film in The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz

Yep lead off the 9th inning of Cubs Cards game at Wrigley with the Cubs down

by one or two runs ( I have blanked that out) and took off on a 3-1( or 3-2 I can’t remember that either) , the batter walked but Cedeno OVER RAN 2nd and the evil troll got him. I think he had been waiting his whole career to use that one. Lou came out to argue but it did not matter. Instead runners on first & second with no outs the Cubs had a runner on first with one out. The next batter promptly hit into a double play and the game was over.

Maybe

He’s been a second-stringer his whole career, but the Brewers are kinda hungry for outfield depth, so it’s possible.

He probably will start for them. I thought we had it bad…

3rd catcher?

Assuming we go with a bench consisting of some combination of the usual suspects already discussed here… who’s our emergency catcher? Say what you want about Jake Fox, but it was nice having him on the roster for that very reason just in case.

The way the roster is shaping up now, the only one I know of with catching experience besides Soto and Hill is Marmol. No way he gets behind the plate. Anyone else?

yeah, I think you're right, but there's even less chance of him getting behind the plate than marmol

I’m guessing Baker gets tapped should the need ever arise.
