Bruce Miles On Tom Ricketts' First Day At Wrigley As Owner
Lots of good stuff here; I especially like this quote:
"I think that it's a long season, and you can't overreact to any one game or any one road trip," Ricketts said. "I think the biggest difference is that now that we kind of know some of the players personally, it's harder when you see them struggle or have something go wrong, you just know how hard they're trying, and you know badly they want to win. It just adds kind of a personal twist on something like that."

What a difference a row makes...
I bought box seat tickets to a game a couple of years ago in the row directly behind where the Ricketts were sitting next to the Cubs dugout for OD.
As I remember, my tickets ran $250 each. I did it once. Can’t afford to do it again.
Now I see the box seats one row closer go for $895 million. Now admittedly, they came as a 4-pack for the 81 game home full season, but still, that’s a pretty steep markup! Makes Stub Hub look like a deal ;)
"Look, what do you want me to do?"
