Great Story
Demp has always been a class act, even when things dind’t go well for him physically either. Lots of things are more important than the Cubs and MLB and this is one of those things. It’s good to know that she’s doing well.
Now, hopefully, Dempster can turn his strong finish last year into another solid season from him.

Green'ed.
Some men learn through what they read. Some men learn through what they're told. Some men have to piss on the railroad tracks. And some men keep on pissin'.
Dempster
AS I have shared before Dempster is probably my favorite player on the team right now for other reasons than his performance on the field.
Not only is he a good guy but he is funny as heck and has a future on the comedy circuit when he retires.
Formerly known as cubstoseriesby100. Thanks Al for letting me change my outdated screenname.
Great story, classy guy.
I hope Ryan Braun sees this before the next time he pretends to be hit in the head.
On a related note, today is Autism Awareness Day. I’m posting that for my nephew.

Wonderful story..
I have a child with what some would call “special needs” (down syndrome), and what’s really clear in the story is how much of a blessing everyone realizes that this little girl is. All of our kids are much more often limited by the expectations around them rather than the limits inside, and this is even more true when kids have “special needs”. She’s a lucky little girl to have such people around her.

i cannot agree more
and for good reason. I am touched when reading these type of stories. my son is special needs as well, he has Epilepsy and started having seizures when he was near 18 months.

My daughter has a trach...
…she was a preemie, different reasons that Demp’s daughter, but I’ll be rooting for him and his family.
Ohhhh I don't know, I got a guy on the other line about some whitewalls - I'll call you back.
I'm happy she is
doing well. Demp went through a lot last season so I hope this one is better for him and his family. Happy Birthday Riley!
