i dont know about Philly from experience, never been there
but in Houston i have more problems with fellow Chicagoans who try to prove who is and isnt from Chicago, and they get pissed when i know more about the city and make them look like a fool,and typically they end up being from Antioch (for example). Honestly
No. (I know it’s wrong, but I’ve seen enough). If he is going with Flyers fans, he can. But he will be heckled and jeered from the walk from the parking lot until he gets back into his car to go home.
Drunken idiots (they will be a LOT of them there) will try to start fights with him and he will get called every name in the book. Try not to go to the bathroom during intermission. Saw a lot of fights there with people sucker punching opposing fans.
He should be fine if he doesn’t act obnoxious. I just described 2% of the fans there.

true, but in hockey IMHO
luck can play a bigger role than in any other sport come playoff time. the puck can bounce funny, and the post can be your worst enemy or best friend

I just found out that a man whom was like a father to be, he knew my mother from the time they were 2 years old has been informed he has cancer and a bad heart. they are wanting to avoid surgery for the heart due to cancer and vice versa.

I told PhillyCub this last week………
But I must admit, the Flyers are good enough to be in the finals. Prior to these two games, I was a skeptic.
However, they don’t have the weapons, or depth to win a series against a superior opponent.
…Like the Cubs, I have been waiting for this for a while….
