Did anyone record Sunday night's game

and would be willing to make me a copy? I am out of town tonight and I forgot to set my DVR to record tonights game. I would be willing to pay for the copy or I will be willing to trade you 2 copies of some of the games I have recorded (going back to 1981 - I would send you the list of games I have, you could pick from them). Please email me at . This would really really be appreciated. Kasey

FYI

Kasey has been taping all Cub games for at least 25 years. He was kind of enough to make me a copy of Maddux’s first game in Sept of 86

Whoa

Assuming that alot of them are on VHS sounds like alot of tapes. I’m thinking off-site storage would be necessary.

You've recorded every game since 1981?

Wow. Do you sell DVD copies at all? If so, I’d be very interested in purchasing some from you.

He obviously can't sell them.

But anyone can do this for their own private use.

Also I don't think he keeps all of them

Maddux’s first start yes, but I doubt he saved too many other games from 86.

The voice does say

Any accounts or descriptions of the game. Which I always found weird because it makes it sound like you can’t describe what happened to your friends (so every sports blog would be in trouble…).

I’m just poking fun.

You're in the clear as long as you aren't rebroadcasting, retransmitting, or otherwise making use

of the pictures descriptions and accounts of the game without the express written consent of MLB and the chicago national league ball club, which is prohibited. Implied oral consent from Bud Selig (he was all “nudge, wink, bob’s your uncle then”) is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Truth be told

I don’t have EVERY game recorded (But I did know someone who did have 80% of games recorded for the last 20 years, but I have lost contact with him in the last year or so). but I do have a significant amount of games recorded and yes, a lot were on VHS tapes, but I converted them to DVD’s a few years back (much less storage). I have not kept games I recorded that the Cubs lost (other than playoff games) so that cut down on a lot of games that I have kept. This year, however, I have cut down on the games I have recorded back down to the level I was recording when I had VCR’s to deal with (about 2-3 games/week as opposed to just about every game the last 3 years), but since I was going out of town for a while, I wanted to record the CUbs/SOx games for sure. SInce I have ATT, I could check (and set up) my DVR from the internet, and when I got in last night, I went online to see how the game was going…seeing a double no-hitter …and thinking this game is definitely a keeper. I went to check my DVR online and saw It was not recording and that I forgot to set it to record that game. Thats when I came here to ask if anyone here had it – and as luck would have it, someone did. I really appreciate it.

Kasey

Wowzers...that's still a lot of effort and admirable.

Therapy might sure be needed with the subject you are taping lol.
