Around SBN: Indy 500: 'Greatest Spectacle In Racing' Set For Sunday

Listen, I understand the need to create new looks to try to get sales, but come on already. An Argyle Cubs Cap? I can't even imagine anyone wearing this. WhIle I am a traditionalist and I think this is an awful design, I know there are people out there that are not...so would anyone actually wear this?

The 80 and up crowd that is. lol.

I like that

about as much as I liked the Memorial Day Cubs caps or the batting practice unis this year.

DEJESUS!!!

Just when you think caps have gotten as ugly as possible...

… they get worse. That’s awful.

No way-that's awful.

Speaking of caps…I got a “W” one as a giveaway from Culver’s last Saturday. I sure hope I get to wear it once in awhile. After that game I was tempted to throw it in the trash. It was the third really bad game I attended recently and I was pretty ticked. It’s a pretty nice cap though so I couldn’t do it.

I wasn't crazy about that cap.

Looked like it was from a place called “West Nowhere High School”.

Yeah. It does kind of have that look.

We have the Woodstock Blue Streaks here. People in my neighborhood might think that’s what it is. I still like it though.

Oh-they must've shown my husband on the air. :)

He was wearing his.

Quality wise it’s not too bad. I admit it’s cheesy. But I happen to like cheesy.

I'll look for that on

I particularly enjoyed the images

thank goodness they let me see it from the right and the left side.
I was thinking it looked pretty bad… …then i noticed i could see it from a different angle and it totally changed my mind.
I thought it was ugly at first.. ..now I think it looks like something out of Caddyshack. Not the good one but Caddyshack II

I'm Buck Melanoma. Moley Russell's wart. Not her wart. Not her wart! I'm... I'm the wart. She's my tumor. My... my growth. My... uh, my pimple. I'm Uncle Wart. Just old Buck "Wart" Russell. That's what they call me, or Melanoma Head. - Uncle Buck

Maybe Caddyshack (original):
Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh?
Oh, it looks good on you though.

I am waiting for an excuse to wear one of Devo's blue energy domes to a game.

Are there any 80’s nights coming up?

I'm seriously tempted to buy one and wear it.

The Cubs could use some energy. The topless thing hasn’t been working anyway.

Better than the guy I saw on Sunday

Sitting on the right field side, field box level and this guy was wearing:

1. Shirtless
2. White or Silver pom pom material on his bald head.
3. An empty beer cup suctioned to this side of his head.
4. Two empty beer cups suctioned to his man-breast.

So you’re seating in your $70 field box seats and you’ve got this moron sitting next to you. And you wonder why the rap Cubs fans is that they only go to Wrigley to party and don’t pay attention to the game??

I like this hat!

Reminds me of “My Fair Lady” in the scene where she yells "Come on, Dover, move yer bloomin’ arse! " at the horse race.

For Deddy?

The argyle baseball hats I have seen are typically worn by African Americans. Maybe this is an attempt to reach out to a community, a la the parade Sunday.
