I thought I would try something to parallel Josh's posts on the minor league prospects. While some here feel the Cubs can get back to playoff contention in 2011, others think it will take until at least 2012. By then, several of the contracts will have expired, and several youngsters might be contributing every day. The premise of the poll is to get the group wisdom on which players will be most likely to NOT be a part of a Cubs team in 2012. Some players are obvious. That's why I'll take five players with the most votes off the initial poll, and then start new polls from there. This should get more interesting as we reach the middle of the pack of current players.
If you like, you can explain your answer. I realize you can only vote for one player in the poll. So if your top few choices are already leading the pack, please vote for your fourth or fifth candidate.
I'm posting this as a FanPost because you can't do a poll in a FanShot. If you think this is a waste of space, feel free to let me know.
