Dempster Foundation Casino Night Fundraiser July 21

Next Wednesday night, Ryan Dempster is hosting a major fundraiser for his foundation, set up last year to help raise funds to find a cure for 22q11.2 deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome/VCFS), the syndrome Dempster's daughter Riley was born with.

From the press release:

The Casino Night and Concert fundraiser will feature a night on the town to mingle with Chicago Cubs players as well as American singer, Jaron and The Long Road to Love; former professional baseball and football player, Bo Jackson; former Major League Baseball player, Frank Thomas; Chicago Blackhawks players, Jonathan Toews, Brian Campbell, and Adam Burish; Philadelphia Flyers player, Danny Briere; and former Chicago Blackhawks player, Chris Chelios. Each of the celebrities from the sports and entertainment worlds will serve as guest dealers at the casino tables.

You can buy tickets for this charity event here, or support the Foundation by buying a BCB/Dempster Foundation T-shirt; $8 from every shirt sold goes to the Foundation.
