Revolving door of mediocrity.

This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

No surprise given

Atkins long outing and general ineffectiveness.

And since the 40 man is mostly full and the season essentially lost, at this point, they’re just going to keep cycling through the same guys.

I’m actually rather surprised Berg didn’t join Atkins on the shuttle.

Shut up Joe Morgan.

This is it.

The move that puts the Cubs over the top.

Book it.

over the top of what?

"Wait, are you saying I'm a sunshine-pumping, koolaid-drinking, Soriano-loving, rainbow-rising, unicorn-riding, double-clutching, Sweet Lou-backing, Hendry-supporting, hey hey whaddya saying, Cubs are going all the waying, glass is overflowing, Rothschild is all-knowing, Cubs fan? - ballhawk

Guess that means we wait longer for the Shark.

Not that either of them will make a bit of difference.

Shut Up Joe Morgan

Given Stevens' trade history, we should be shopping him heavily.

He’s already been the centerpiece of deals for Brandon Phillips and Mark DeRosa.

I think this is an amazing move!

It shows the kind of thinking that is keeping JH in his current position. Such out of the box moves are rare these days!

I doubt other teams are able to pull this stuff off! I don’t see why other moves need to be made before the deadline!

JH and Mike McCaskey are amazing!
