Go Cubs!
If the Cubs still have a chance, no matter how small, it’s still Go Cubs, damn the math and pass the KoolAid.
Go Germany too
If the Cubs still have a chance, no matter how small, it’s still Go Cubs, damn the math and pass the KoolAid.
Is it just me?
Or should every picture of Gorzo in his pitching motion be Photoshopped just to save him some embarrassment?

I'm sure there has to be at least on Cub fan @ BP
That could help with that :)

did anyone see the extra large card fan
wearing the shirt that said got rings? As fat as she was I wouldn’t be wearing anything that is trying to cut others down….
I bet she has rings
under that shirt

OT: Germany sent the Czech Republic down 1,2,3 in the first!

If I cared all that much
I’d be split – my heritage is mostly Czech-German, with just a bit more Czech. I would probably have to get one of those half-n-half jerseys.

I doubt they want to sell cereal in Chicago.

Colvin place in order?
Surely not leadoff long term. Can he be a No. 3 hitter? If the Jackson kid pans out as leadoff makes sense to alternatve righties-lefties. I also hold out hope Castro could be a middle-of-order hitter, perhaps a No. 3.
Think we’re wasting Colvin’s power (just homered) as leadoff. He has potential for 30+ with that swing. Might get to 25 this year in limited PT.
He’s also a 1B candidate to replace Lee depending on off-season OF moves.
Aaron Miles can go straight to hell
and don’t collect $200 for passing go.

I just noticed that Mike Fontenot hasn't gotten a start in over 2 weeks.
Baker has gotten one start in that time. Has Lou simply forgotten they are on the team?
They got busted lighting each others' farts
Or something. Look, I dunno. What do you want me to say?

when Lou is clearly playing out the string.

It is getting closer....
Lee has batted 3rd all season for some reason and Castro as we know started in the minors and batted 8th while Theriot batted at the top.
Oh yes, oh yes, more, oh yes...

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THAT RELAY THROW BY MILES!!!
My wife throws harder than that. I adore that guy (playing for the Cardinals).
Lee has really slowed down running the bases....
I think a dog was pissing on his shoes as he rounded 3rd base.
2 in a row from the Deadbirds
