Ex-Cub Watch: Chad Tracy Signs With Yankees
A note buried at the bottom of this article about a possible Cliff Lee to the Yankees trade:
The Yankees have also signed veteran corner infielder Chad Tracy, who will head down to the minors for a while. Tracy will provide protection for Alex Rodriguez and his sometimes balky hip.

Definitely.
What Tracy would contribute to it this year if called up is likely to be a few errors and outs. Lee would certainly be a help for any team right now.
