August in Chicago can be rather warm at times.

44 days in "upper 80s" classify as "rather warm"? painfully hot!

I remember the heat well, but the mugginess was what made it hard to take at times.

The people in Moscow would too. They have had temps up in the upper 90's and low 100's
and I doubt that 90% of the people Moscow have access to an air conditioner.

I wouldn't make a specific accusation against anyone...
But look at BALCO, designer steroids that were undetectable by current tests. HGH is still not tested for at the major league level. I don’t believe MLB is clean any more than I believe the Tour de France is clean.
If you have money to pay, doping is always a game of cat & mouse with new drugs followed by new tests. The only way I can see seriously making a dent is preserving blood samples for future testing – that would make the stars a bit more leery of thinking about cheating.

I learned a long time ago
You can tell who is first in market share by watching the commercials. The market leader has their commercials, hey look at us. You want our product. Everybody else talks about how much better they are than their competitor. Pepsi always mentions Coke. Coke never mentions Pepsi.
Guess who is winning?
It never gets to be easy

Pepsi has always had the 2nd place mentality
they need to just give it up. The market share they have is what it will always be. The cola wars are over.
