Looks good to me.
Sure wish Castillo could’ve gotten some regular playing time. Now he is, I guess. It will be interesting to watch how he runs things, and if he can get some life out of these guys. I’ll take a pulse.
I'm guessing Castillo will be back after Iowa is done with their playoffs.

Absolutely.
I must say, it is very difficult for me pulling for the I-Cubs knowing the real Cubs are shooting for draft position and the not top 10. It’s more difficult knowing I’m getting comfortable with it.
This year has just been a dud. We all feel that way at this point.
But I can guarantee you that we will get that winning attitude and the winning expectations back when Spring 2011 rolls around.
(Well, some of us will)

Well Castillo did not need to play!
Hill needed the At bats!
We need to see what we have in him going into next year!
Same with Nady! Hoff can learn much from watching him everyday!
The problem with Hoff was...
that he could not be recalled until now. There is the rule that once a player is sent down, he has to remain down for a number of days before he can be recalled. When Lee came back from the bereavement list, Hoff was sent down. Of course Lee was traded a few days later, but since that rule was in effect, he could not come back (As much as the Cubs wanted him to…in fact, he was at the airport waiting for a flight to Chicago when he was notified that he was not being recalled). Thats why Fuld was here…and Nady was playing 1st. Now that Hoff is back, both he and Colvin will probably be sharing the 1st base duties.

Maybe until the trade deadline..
after that, I’d be agnostic over that choice. Neither player figures in ’11.

I was really hoping to see our good old friend Dave Bialas back in Cubs pinstripes. He could be the regular interim base coach.
