Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaah '03 Cubs represent!
Best of luck, Mr. Prior…I hope things start finally turning the corner for ya… Here’s to a Mark Prior return!
A-well-a Byrd, Byrd, Byrd, well the Byrd is the word.
Off to a good start
He pitched a scoreless inning tonight, striking out the last batter he faced.

Saw one of the Lugnut pitchers doing the 'towel drill'
last night before the game and it was all I could do to keep myself from running over and telling him to STOP!

My hometown Victoria Seals Play in That League
I’ve only been to a couple games this year, but a chance to see Prior, even if he’s just a shadow of his formerly dominant self, would get me out to the yard.
I know there’s a lot of animosity towards Prior around BCB, but I don’t harbour any. Wish him the best.

Good luck to him...
It’s unfortunate the way things worked out for his career. I don’t know if there’s anything left in the arm, but I wish him the best in trying to see if there is anything left.
Ahhh, that 2003 starting rotation.
Sigh.

Why shouldn't
the Cubs buyout his contract. It would put fans in the seats of their lower A teams. It would be a very low risk, possible high reward and a class thing to do.
Interesting idea...
…but one, I got the feeling he doesn’t want to have anything to do with the Cubs again when he left.
And two… I don’t know if he is ready to become a “gimmick.” (or sideshow)
Have to give him credit.
He obviously wants to pitch. Sure he wants to make a living, but I give him credit to go through with this.
Just a shame it ended up like this. He stuff was just as good or better than Strausburg has right now.
