Is it really a Signing Fail when the Diamondbacks pulled the offer off the table and stopped negotiating with their first round draft pick? Should they get an extra 2011 first round pick for deciding not to sign him? Failing to sign the pick is not the same deciding not to sign to the pick If you're the Cubs, this could impact your 2011 first round draft selection. Depending on the final standings, the Diamondbacks could push the Cubs back one slot in the first round.
