OT: Memories from childhood

This post has nothing to do with this years Cubs.

But as I was stuck sitting home today, due  to car problem  and I  was reading some of Joe's comments in his fanpost. I started to think about fun childhood sports things that I remember. Was curious about about others.

Two things came to mind.

One was learning how to keep score. How neat it was after learning, b/.c then listening to the games, I could follow better what they were talking about.

Second is football related. I grew up near Green Bay, even as a little kid I hated going shopping. So mom use to bribe me into school shopping by promising me we could go and watch training camp. There is a mall near where the Packers practice. So each year we would do that.
