Don't stop trying - Go Cubs

If the Cubs still have a chance, no matter how small, it’s still Go Cubs, damn the math and pass the KoolAid.

Let's do it!!

Is it too much to ask to have the Cubs win one series against the hapless Pirates???

Dear Fruit of the Loom-

Please, please, please stop making commercials with your mascots pretending to play music. They look ridiculous and the music sucks dead gophers through McDonalds soda straws.

Let me understand this...

You have a problem with people dressed as fruit PRETENDING to play music? So if they actually could play music, then the concept is OK?

And I don’t believe you can actually get a dead gopher inside a plastic Mickey D’s straw…

They could play the music themselves

And the music would still suck. That’s my main gripe.

Konerko HR!!

Sure would look good at 1B for Cubs, Tremendous team/clutch player. Only negative I see is he’s not LH hitter. I really don’t want Adam Dunn surely Hendry is not that dumb to sign another all-or-nothing hitter (Soriano!!). Konerko makes contact, gets clutch hits and is a proven winner in Chicago. If Sox are dumb enough to let him walk, grab him!! (Am surprised there hasn’t been more discussion on this).

If it's like other divisions in large conferences

A team will generally play every other team in its division once and fill out the rest of their conference schedule with a team or two from the other. The championship game will feature the two division champions facing off.

the Big Ten

finally has enough teams to be able to have a championship game – and really too many to not have two divisions – so they are splitting it up so that way they get one more game (and yes partly for tv revenues) and a true champion

As for HOW they are splitting the teams up..

They want to balance the “big” teams, because how things have been in the past, will next year and forever be the way things will be in the future.

But it appears that they wanted Ohio St/Michigan in opposite divisions, and also Penn St/Nebraska in opposite divisions, as they have been judged the “top 4 teams”, for football. Iowa/Wisconsin were probably split up for being ‘ranked’ 5 and 6. Best I can tell, basketball (or any other sport) was not a consideration.

Line drive right at his head. Managed to get his hands up before he was hit.

If the Cubs still have a chance, no matter how small, it’s still Go Cubs, damn the math and pass the KoolAid.
