I'm glad my sick die hard Cubs fan mom healed up well through April to withstand the nose dive in May.

My 9 year old niece pegged the Cubs well. She, her sister and her older brother are being raised, God bless them, to be Cubs fans. They've gone to a lot of games at Wrigley and never seen them win once there. Before the game, they were polled and only my nephew Alex thought they might win. Poor guy was so disappointed with the Cubs that while we were at the Lego Store in Chicago, I bought him a set and asked him to not give up on them (remembering what Steve Goodman sang about).

Anyway, when asked about what they need to do differently as we left Wrigley after that stinker on August 6 .. without a beat, Maggie said "The Cubs need to work HARDER."
