Here is the actual listing for the house. It’s three blocks from Wrigley.

Very nice home.
A lovely story:
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who didn't whine, nag or bitch. That would be me....
But that was a long time ago and it was just that one day.
The end
very cool
It’s neat to see pictures of his house.

Seriously - I love this idea! It might make visiting Wrigley from Germany affordable... ;-)
If the Cubs still have a chance, no matter how small, it’s still Go Cubs, damn the math and pass the KoolAid.
When he gets a 7 year deal for $80 million with a no trade, he'll be back
He’ll just upgrade.
As to that listing, I wouldn’t even think twice about it if not for the wine cellar.

Not much of a southern view
But the deck on top of the garage looks cool.

BTW, Ted was outstanding last night.
This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).
Bye Ted

I thought
Ted would of been able to lift this home to his new home town.
I guess when Ricketts came out and said the payroll for 2011 would be a tad lower, Ted’s house hit the market.
Lilly was gone when they traded him.
As you recall he was sad about the trade and said the Cubs had never discussed an extension with him. It was clear he wanted to stay but the Cubs did not want to spend the money. It is not an illogical move by the Cubs but I do worry about the budget for next year.

hopefully the Cubs sign a high end pitcher to replace Lilly
I havent seen the list of prospective free agents, but there always appear to be plenty to choose from-if you are willing to spend. Even if the Cubs do pay for a starting pitcher, the odds of it being Lilly were always somewhat slim-Lilly will have plenty of suitors and the Cubs would have plenty of choices. Let’s hope Ricketts finds the checkbook.
I doubt it
If they had the budget to sign a high end starter they would have kept Lilly. I expect they will use what money they have for a 1B and some veteran relief pitchers.

Ted Lilly can sell a house in any market
At above listed price.
I’m guessing he stays in LA or heads to the Giants or Yankees.
