We're at the lake

lots of things to do here.

A lovely story:

One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who didn't whine, nag or bitch. That would be me....

But that was a long time ago and it was just that one day.

The end

by sue369 on Sep 5, 2010 2:27 PM CDT up reply actions

I thought you were watching the Hawkeyes, Sue.

My sister went there for awhile, we went down there in the early 80’s. She was on the pom-pon squad, and it was parents’ weekend – my Dad got to go down at halftime and be on the field… dads shaking pom-pons in the air with their daughters.. only she forgets to tell Dad how to dress, so he picks out this garish Red leisure suit with white piping.

Yep, they were playing Indiana.

Dad went to Northwestern mind you, and wasn’t Polish. He just had this ridiculous red suit, and lacked from clues at times.

I’ll never miss watching my Hawks. Great story about youor sisiter and your dad.
